placed a order on 28.6.22 for a Richmond bench on the 29.6.22 they took money out of bank, still waiting for my order to be deliverd ( if you go on there careers & job vacancys have you got any workers!! I thought garden trading was a really good British company Not ANY MORE ( no chance of getting money back)

Cushions Inners very bad quality
I brought a few cushions with them, before sale price was £50 each. Was so disappointed, I was under the impression the items were good quality - the inner cushions were awful - must have been brought very very cheaply not something I'd be proud to show off. Such a shame, very disappointed. After for a return and refund

A wonky Rose Arch
I ordered the Charlbury Rose Arch recently in the sale. I absolutely loved the picture and the measurements were perfect to fit by the front garden gate. I had wonderful vision of a climbing Rose cascading over the arch….but read on……assembling the item was easy enough but there were a couple of bolts that simply wouldn’t go through as the threading was the wrong way around. There was also one hole that simply didn’t line up so no matter how I tried just couldn’t get the screw to go through. I thought, no worries I have zip ties, I’ll make allowances, still with those romantic visions of lovely roses in my head. So come to hoist the very wobbly arch into an upright position after diligently digging holes to the exact millimetre and depth. THE ARCH IS VERY NON SYMMETRICAL. The problem is that the two curved sections are not exactly the same, the curve on one is different to the other so it would always look scew whiff. So conceding defeat ( I really did try to make the best of a bad job) I’ve decided that rather than send back and push for a refund (reading reviews here that seems to be a task in itself) I shall use the side panels as individual trellis panels. Honestly have had such a bad run of online purchases recently from different places that I’m going to give up and only purchase items in store from now on. BTW the Charlbury Rose Arch had now gone back up to full price. I’m guessing that this may be a new batch without the faults. Fingers crossed for anyone purchasing this item.

Appalling customer service
I purchased a hose pipe with gun, the gun did not fit in to the hose, water leaked everywhere. Told they could not replace but I would have to return and get a refund.
Now a month down the line, they have lost the return and refuse a refund.
Do not use this company! It used to be good, now useless!,

Shocking company. No contact telephone number to speak to customer service. No response from three emails requesting a refund for a faulty product.
Buy elsewhere. This company is a joke!

Garden Trading customer service - what has happened?!
Garden Trading customer service used to be brilliant, what's happened? It's dire! Totally inaccurate delivery guide on my online account, no phone line, no email responses, items missing from my order (still!), super slow and casual chat response - etc! We've spent a small fortune with them lately and aren't getting even an adequate level of service.

I have been trying to get hold of Garden Trading customer service for months now but haven't been able to speak to anyone - they no longer answer phones or reply to e-ails or web chat. We asked for Garden Trading gift vouchers for our wedding present, but when I try to use them online they aren't accepted. RUBBISH COMMUNICATION
Purchased a table and a Garden arch and they delivered to another address via DPD. DPD have not resolved this and Garden Trading have not responded and its been over 1 week. Rubbish company will not use them again after 8 years of using them

Nonexistent customer support
I wish I could give them more star because the products and delivery are good, but they are incredibly frustrating because they have ZERO customer service. I currently need to return items and have no way of communicating with them if they don't have a working phone number or respond to my email requests. Their conduct is on the border of fraudulence at this point, and I am wondering what more I have to do to get their attention on this simple matter.

Avoid at all cost
Avoid at all cost, a fancy marketing front end but little process and control behind the business. They take your money then there’s no way of speaking to anyone about orders not received or incorrect or damaged orders - zero customer service support!

Faulty item and no customer service available!
Bought an item online which arrived faulty. The customer service line is unavailable and the telephone number on the package put me through to accounts. I explained I needed an exchange and my internet is not working to email them. I was promised a call back from customer service which didn’t happen and so I had to call back again. However, this time I was helped with the return and the problem was sorted out, although they cannot offer a straight replacement, so annoyingly I’ll have to return and reorder!
It’s a shame that the phone service for this company has been suspended, as not everyone wants or is able to take part in a virtual online chat.
Hopefully, the phone service will be reinstated in future.
